Lincoln Boyhood National Memorial

This was our first stop of the 2022 Summer Road-trip with Kahlan, Avery, and William. We have visited a few other Lincoln historical sites and it was nice to add this one to the list. This is where Lincoln spent part of his childhood growing up and where his mother passed away (she's still buried at this location. There is a nice walking trail to see the living farm, several log cabins, and original foundations of the historical buildings. It likely only takes about a half day or so to visit all there is to see and learn a good deal about what life was like growing up in the early 1800s in rural Indiana.
