Scott's Bluff National Monument
In 2020, thanks to the Coronavirus/Covid-19 Pandemic, National Parks, Monuments, and Historic Sites were closed all around the country with various levels of restrictions for visitation (and stamp collecting). However, the National Park Service began earnestly developing Virtual Tours for folks to experience the many sites and wonders of the country from the comfort of their own home. While it's not the same as seeing it in person, this was a great way to allow us to see, learn, and understand the significance of these places from a safe place. In addition, they began creating "Virtual" stamps that you can download and print copies of if you visit their site and/or complete the virtual tour. Virtual Junior Ranger Badges were made available and you could also complete the Jr (Sr) ranger booklets to mail away and receive your Jr Ranger Badge. Not every site and park has made their virtual stamps and badges readily accessible, but as I find them I add them to the collection knowing that someday I'll still visit it for real to earn the actual legit cancellation stamp.
