Ulysses S. Grant National Historic Site

On the last day of the Summer 2021 road trip, I drove from Topeka Kansas and all the way home. Along the way I made a few final stops including the Ulysses S. Grant National Historic Site. They offer tours of his house and a self guided walk through of life and times of Grant in a converted barn. It is a place that can be thoroughly visited in just a few hours with some nice enjoyable tours and walking of the grounds. 

I made quick stop in on the 2022 Summer Road-trip with Kahlan, Avery, and William after our ride up to the top of the Gateway Arch for a short visit. We toured the barn, the house, and saw some reenactors showing a living history of what life was like here in the 1800s.
