With I-70 closed due to a mudslide washout, I was forced to choose an alternate route through Colorado. I went south and had the time for a short visit at Black Canyon National Park. This place is awesome. I cannot wait to come back and spend a day or two with some hiking down into the canyon and surrounding trails. This place definitely made it into my top 10 favorites just for the awe inspiring views.
