Glen Canyon National Park

In October 2020, myself and three buddies took a week long hiking tour of Arizona and Utah seeing the sites worth seeing. The Glen Canyon National Recreation Area covers an immense area around northern Arizona and southern Utah mostly along Lake Powell. The primary stopping point is the Carl Hayden Visitor Center in Page, AZ which of course was closed due to Covid.

There are a number of other smaller visitor centers and ranger stations in this area including Big Water, Bull Frog, Dangling Rope, Escalante Interagency, Halls Crossing, Hans Flat, Hite, Lee's Ferry, Navajo Bridge Interpretive, and Waheap. You'll find a variety of stamps at each different location. I certainly have a number of additional stops to make next time I'm in the area.

Lake Powell

The best way to Rainbow Bridge is by ferry or personal boat over Lake Powell. I recommend the personal boat. More freedom and way more fun.
